1. Check-in (Arrival Time):
Check-in is possible from 2:00 p.m. and also by individual arrangement. Thanks to our online check-in system, you can arrive flexibly: On the day of your arrival, you will receive your room number and an access code via email or SMS, allowing you to enter your room conveniently.

Check-out:
We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. Please leave the room key inserted in the outside of the door when checking out. Thank you!

2. Payment:
Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or by providing your credit card details. You will receive an invoice by email after booking.
Please note that cash payment is unfortunately not possible. Thank you for your understanding!

3. Bicycles can be stored safely in our courtyard.

4. Free Wi-Fi:
By using our Wi-Fi network, you agree to our internet usage policy. Illegal activities on the internet are strictly prohibited. You may be held responsible for any legal fees resulting from violations, including: illegal downloading or sharing of images, music, or films, participating in file-sharing networks, accessing websites with criminal content (e.g. child pornography), or distributing unlawful content (e.g. hate speech, insults).

5. Bed linen, towels, iron, and hairdryer are included.
The kitchen is available for guest use (equipped with a kettle, microwave, and stove – no TV!).

6. We do not have a reception.

7. Parking is usually available for free on the street. We do not have private parking spaces, but if needed, we can try to arrange parking in our courtyard for a fee.

8. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.
In case of violation of our no-smoking policy, a flat fee of €150 will be charged.
Smoking is only permitted on the balcony on the 1st floor or in the courtyard during summer.

9. Cancellation policy:
In case of cancellation after reservation, the guest will be charged 10% of the total price.
If canceled within 7 days before arrival, an additional 40% will be charged.
In case of no-show or cancellation on the day of arrival, the full price will be charged.
For bookings of 3 rooms or more: 100% of the total price is due for cancellations made within 14 days of arrival.

10. We currently do not offer breakfast.
However, there is a bakery right next to our building.

11. All bathrooms in the house may be used.
There are 9 bathrooms spread across 4 floors.

12. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Please keep noise to a minimum during this time and do not use the kitchen or the balcony (they will be locked from 10 p.m.).

13. You are welcome to request a specific room,
but we cannot guarantee it. (This depends on other bookings – if a guest is already staying in that room, they may not want to switch, which we hope you understand.)

14. In case of lost or damaged keys, we charge a fee of €25.

15. Information about the Karlsruhe City Tax:
We would like to kindly inform you that the city of Karlsruhe introduced a City Tax (overnight stay tax) on July 1st, 2025.

This tax amounts to:

€3.50 per person per night (for guests aged 18 and over).

The tax is charged in addition to the accommodation price and is payable at check-in.

Children and young people under 18 years of age are exempt.

The revenue from this tax helps maintain and further develop tourism services in Karlsruhe.
