1. Check-in

Check-in is available from 2:00 PM or by individual arrangement.
We do not have a reception.
On the day of arrival, you will receive your room number and access code via email or SMS.

2. Check-out

Check-out is until 10:00 AM.
Please leave the room key in the outside door lock when checking out.

3. Payment

Payment is possible via bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card.
An invoice will be sent by email after booking.
Cash payment is not accepted.

4. Bicycles

Bicycles can be safely parked in the courtyard.

5. Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available.
Illegal internet use is strictly prohibited (e.g. illegal downloads, file sharing, criminal content).
Any legal costs resulting from violations must be borne by the guest.

6. Amenities

Bed linen, towels, iron and hair dryer are included.
The shared kitchen may be used (kettle, microwave, stove).
No TV available.

7. Parking

Free street parking is usually available.
We do not have private parking spaces.
Subject to availability, courtyard parking may be offered for a fee.

8. Non-smoking

All rooms are non-smoking rooms.
Violation results in a contractual penalty of 150 €.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony (1st floor) / courtyard area during summer.

9. Cancellation Policy

  • After booking: 10% of the total price

  • Within 7 days before arrival: additional 40%

  • On arrival day / no-show: 100% of the total price

Bookings of 3 rooms or more:

  • From 14 days before arrival: 100%

Long-term bookings (2 months or more):

  • Free cancellation up to 1 month before arrival

  • After that: 100% of the total price

  • Notice Period for Long-Term Stays

    For long-term guests (stays of 2 months or more) the following applies:

    • Termination is possible at any time,

    • subject to a notice period of one month to the end of the month.

10. Breakfast

Breakfast is currently not available.
A bakery is located next door.

11. Bathrooms

All 9 bathrooms in the building (across 4 floors) may be used.

12. Quiet hours

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Kitchen and balcony use is not permitted during this time and will be locked after 10 PM.

13. Room requests

Room requests are welcome but cannot be guaranteed, depending on availability.

14. Lost keys

Lost or damaged keys will be charged 25 €.

15. City Tax – Karlsruhe

Since July 1, 2025, the City of Karlsruhe charges a city tax:

  • 4 € per person per night (guests aged 18+)

Children under 18 are exempt. Up to 60 Days booking- free from payment.
